Terms of Service for Crazy Thoughts: Would U Rather

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Crazy Thoughts: Would U Rather ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms are in addition to the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement on iOS and Google Play's terms on Android. If there is a conflict about billing, the store's terms control.

1. The App

Crazy Thoughts is a family party game with "Would You Rather" cards, optional game modes, optional ads, and an optional one-time in-app purchase. Core decks and game modes are playable without an account.

2. Age and Parents

The App is designed for families, including children, with a target age rating of 9+. If you are a parent or guardian, you are responsible for the child's use of the App, including any purchases. All purchase and restore paths use a math-challenge parental gate.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, or use the App's content (including cards, art, and copy) for a competing product.

4. In-App Purchases

The optional Family Forever VIP Pass is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.
On iOS, payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store. On Android, payment is charged through Google Play.
The pass unlocks all VIP expansion decks, unlimited custom cards, and removes ads.
Restore Purchases is available on the paywall and in Settings. On iOS, the pass supports Apple Family Sharing when that setting is enabled for the product in App Store Connect.
Prices are shown by the store in your local currency. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot refund a store purchase ourselves.

5. Advertising

If you have not purchased the Family Forever Pass, the App may show child-directed, G-rated, non-personalized Google AdMob ads: optional rewarded videos to temporarily unlock a VIP deck, and occasional full-screen interstitial ads. Ad requests are tagged for child-directed and under-age-of-consent treatment.

On iOS, the App asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before AdMob starts. That matches the Google Mobile Ads SDK's privacy manifest, which declares Device ID as used for tracking. Child-directed treatment is still applied and is intended to prevent IDFA transmission and interest-based ads. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Custom Cards and Local Content

Family Thought Studio lets you write custom cards stored only on your device. Do not include anyone else's personal information in custom cards. We do not review, host, or share custom cards with other users.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to cheat or reverse store purchases, interfere with vote counters or other backend services, or use the App in a way that breaks applicable law.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every region. Game content is for entertainment. Community vote percentages shown in the App are generated on device and are not a live read from our database.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AustinCodez is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the App. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Family Forever Pass in the previous 12 months, or $4.99, whichever applies.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last Updated" date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
